Teething Biscuits

Yesterday, my mom (aka Grandma Bernard) mentioned that Truman might enjoy teething biscuits. Being first time parents, Shea and I had naturally never heard of such a thing. Grandma B explained that when my brother, Steve, and I were little we used to love having a biscuit to just sit and chew on for long periods of time. She also warned us to expect a large mess from said biscuits. Anyway, while out and about running errands we decided to look for some biscuits, and found "wheat teething biscuits" made by one of our favorite organic baby stuff suppliers. We decided to pick up a box and try them out. Well, Grandma B was correct - Truman LOVED them! As soon as we handed him the biscuit he put it straight into his mouth and started chewing. Just as we were warned, within minutes he was a mess of biscuit goo, but it was so cute! He must have chewed and gnawed on the biscuit for 20 minutes. By the end, it was just a wet blob, but our little guy enjoyed every minute with that thing! Grandmas give great advice :-)

Here is our boy enjoying his biscuit:

And the happy mess that ensued (zoom in for full effect):
