Today, Truman discovered how to make raspberries!

Grandfather's Weekend!

We were lucky enough to have both of Truman's grandmothers visit the first weekend in August (as well as Uncle Graham, Uncle Matthew, and Grandpa Simmons), and this weekend Truman's grandfathers came to see the little fellow! First, Grandpa Bigsby and Nadine arrived on Thursday night and came to visit Friday afternoon.

Then, Grandpa Bernard joined in on the fun on Saturday. We were able to pick him up at the airport. Here are some pics of Grandpa Bernard meeting Truman for the first time:



Throughout the weekend, Truman was able to get to spend a lot of quality time getting to know his grandparents!







We were also all able to enjoy some delicious meals together. Our favorite was going to Natty Greene's where we were able to sit outside. Our timing was perfect in that Truman slept while we ate:



Then he woke up just in time to watch the trains going by:


After lunch we were able to go for a walk downtown. Truman LOVED being held by Grandpa Bernard - he just laid down his head and enjoyed the ride!



We were also able to enjoy the small park that was added to our city several years ago. It's so nice to have some "greenery" in the midst of the concrete!




All in all, it was a very nice weekend!

Take Me Out to the Ballgame

We have been fortunate to receive many, many cute outfits as gifts for Truman. However, lately his diapers have been leaking at night and we've been going through many, many footed sleepers, so we decided to go buy a couple extra to save ourselves from having to do laundry everyday. We came across this one and couldn't resist!

Every morning, Truman wakes up in a great mood and we are awoken by the sounds of him talking. Here's a short video of Truman this morning - we hit the jackpot!

We've had to do a lot of driving around this week for doctor's appointments and errands, but luckily Truman enjoys his car seat:



At night, the weather has been cooling off a bit and we've been able to enjoy some fun outdoors time:





And Truman continues to be the most adorable baby ever!
