Christmas Extravaganza: Part 1

Our little family of 3 recently returned home after a week-long trip to NY to visit with family and friends. While I won't be able to really do the trip justice on the blog (we came home with over 750 pictures!) I'll try to do a "best of" highlight reel (I'll probably have to break the post into 2 or 3 parts so I can fit enough pictures).

Our trip started a couple of days before Christmas, allowing us to sneak in some good family time with Truman's grandparents. We started off visiting with Grandma Bernard (who kindly allowed us to stay with her during our visit). Truman had fun crawling on Grandma B!

Then Grandma and Grandpa Simmons came over to say hello. Truman thought Grandpa Steve was sooo funny! Throughout the trip, whenever Grandpa Steve would hold T, he would just start giggling and smiling. Truman got an early-Christmas present, and had fun listening to the paper ripping.

On Christmas Eve, Truman received another present (this time from Grandma B). He had fun playing with his new barnyard friends:

Christmas Eve night was spent at Grandma and Grandpa Simmons'. Truman was able to meet his Great-Grandpa Bleir, Great-Aunt Mary and Great-Uncle Greg, as well as his 2nd cousins. He also had fun hanging out with Uncle Graham and Uncle Matthew. It was a great night!

We started off Christmas morning back at Grandma and Grandpa Simmons' house. Truman had fun playing and opening presents, and was finally able to meet Uncle Nate - yay! Truman also got to hang out with Uncle Matthew's bunny.

Then we headed over to Great-Grandma Bernard's house, where we got to spend time with Grandpa Bernard, Great-Aunt Kathy, and Uncle Steve. Truman had fun crawling through the stacks of presents, and especially loved playing with his new xylophone - our boy continues to love his music!

To be continued...
