Baby Food!

Several people have been asking us about Truman's eating habits, so we thought we would give a quick update. For those of you who know Shea and me, you know that we love to cook, so it was kind of natural that we decided to make all of Truman's food. So far, it's been really easy! We bought a cookbook called "Blender Baby Foods" and have been making simple fruits and veggies for T. As of tonight, we've made bananas, plums, cantaloupe, peaches, peas, carrots, sweet potatoes, and corn. We've got a whole system down where we make large quantities of each food and then freeze them in baby-sized portions. Here's a picture of what our kitchen often looks like nowadays:

And our freezer system:

So far, Truman has enjoyed every single food we've tried (he really is such a sweet, easy baby). Hopefully he'll continue to be a little adventurer when it comes to food :-) Truman's schedule with food looks something like this:
Breakfast: 2oz fruit with 1 Tbsp rice cereal
Lunch: 2oz fruit or veggie
Dinner: 2oz veggie with 1 Tbsp rice cereal
And he eats formula on demand throughout the day.

Here's a short video of him enjoying one of his favorites, peaches!
