So I forgot to mention that our first Post-Placement visit with our social worker who completed our homestudy was last Wednesday. For those of you not familiar with the process, we are required to have three Post-Placement's conducted, at 3-, 6-, and 12-months after being home. The reports are then sent to the Ethiopian government. It's a way for the adoption agencies to show that the children being adopted are being well taken care of in their new homes. Anyway, the meeting went well. It was pretty low-key. Our social worker basically just asked about Truman's schedule, how he's doing, if we have any questions or concerns, etc. We were a bit nervous about the meeting (it's always weird to have someone come into your home to analyze how you are doing) but it was all good. One report done, two to go! (well, besides the yearly check-in's we have to do on our own).
By the way, how sweet is our boy??? :-)
