Beach: Day 2

We were so lucky to have absolutely beautiful weather during our short beach vacation! The temperature stayed in the low 80's the whole time, and there was a nice breeze to keep the baby (and us!) from getting overheated. On our 2nd day, we spent some time playing inside with Truman before getting all packed up for a day at the beach. Here was the beautiful view from our balcony:

As usual, Truman had a fantastic time playing and reading some books (I think he's going to be a big reader just like his Mom and Dad!):




Then we headed out to the sandy beach. Truman was so intrigued by the sand that he couldn't take his eyes off of it! In almost every picture I have, he is staring intently at it, trying to figure out the new substance!




He especially loved it when we sat him on the sand and he could just rake it with his fingers:






Well, he at least loved it until he took a big bite full!




In the evening, we were able to take a wonderful stroll on the beach. It was a perfect day :-)
